The New Patio

I spent all of Monday finishing the flagstone patio. My husband spent all Sunday laying pieces down, pretty much until it was too dark to see. I am completely sore, my husband is too. He worked really hard and did the most work, so I imagine he feels worse.

It's done and it looks great. We need to let it settle a week before adding dirt to fill in the cracks. Once that's complete I can begin to add some moss and other small plants in between the larger cracks. We are both glad the end to our mud pit has come out so nicely.

Next on my weekend project list: work on the garden.
