Christmas Beans

This morning I asked my three year old what she ate for breakfast. She said "Christmas beans."

Hmmm. 'Christmas beans' I thought. What on earth is that? What did Daddy feed her? As the thoughts raced through my mind I finished applying my make-up. Still perplexed I had to figure out what this child ate for breakfast. For heavens sake let it not be jelly beans or something of that sort.

I discovered on the dining table the evidence I needed to solve the breakfast mystery. An empty bowl and a box of Rice Krispies.

Ahhh now it makes sense "Christmas beans".....Rice Krispies....they can sound similar.
