Our butterfly

Leah caught a butterfly during our camping trip. We have kept it in the butterfly pavillion. We have determined that it is a Monarch. It created a chrysalid, pale green with beautiful gold dots. So pretty. It will become a butterfly soon. Once the chrysalid turns brown it will emerge soon after. This is pretty exciting. We had every intention to send away for our butterflies for the pavillion but this is just as fun, maybe more so. Leah was excited to see it create the chrysalid. It hung upside down for a full day and then suddenly there it was a green chrysalid.

We'll see how this goes, hope it emerges when we're home.
