Passing of a loved one

Today my Grandpa will be taken off the ventilator. He had a stoke recently and has experienced all sorts of trauma affiliated with it. He has been unconscious and not responsive. The day has come to say good bye to Grandpa.

As a child I always thought he'd be here forever, he was a constant in my life. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that he will be gone.
