Bye-bye Butterflies

After waiting patiently for our little caterpillars to metamorphosis into the beautiful Painted Lady butterflies we finally get to see them off. Today was a perfect day to release our butterflies warm and sunny. There are plenty of pretty flowers to seek and blue skies to enjoy. They really didn't want to leave the pavilion. I gently scooped them out one by one and handed them to the girls. What fun to watch the girls enjoy this wonder of nature. One rested on my fingers for a moment. How beautiful.
