Wedding gift for a friend

This is the gift for our dear friends. They are getting married in a few days and I think they'll love this, particularly since they will be moving to a tiny apartment in NY and will desire low bulk wedding gifts. We picked this piece up at a local pottery store in Harpers Ferry, WV. The gentleman artist has been a pottery only in his retirement and has quite a beautiful collection. I like the simple elegance to his work.
