Thanksgiving reflections

Thanksgiving was a great day. Our dear friends came over to enjoy an afternoon of good food and many laughs. There were several great dishes shared and sadly for you I was not thinking about picture taking as much as I was thinking about enjoying the company. With the bounty of food everyone was able to find something to satisfy that big Thanksgiving appetite. From the littlest guest munching away on sweet potatoes to the pickiest non beet eaters. Many food conversions were made and stories shared. Traditions of food found at the table make for those fantastic family stories. Those simple and wonderful things are what make a holiday like this something we all look forward to every year. Reminiscing and laughing. There is where the joy of being with loved ones remains. Taking a moment, looking around the table, and knowing simply that this is the best place to be right now.
