Nifty Ideas: Knitting Goodies
Another round of fantastic nifty ideas I have discovered. You too may become inspired by these nifty things and in turn create your own. If you have any of your own nifty ideas please share them with me I'd love to learn about what is nifty to you.
Knitting is one craft that I do all year round. I have several projects going and pick one up as desired. Besides having something to knit in my purse I'm always on the look out for new things to make. So I guess you could say I'm obsessed. But that's ok it's a good habit to maintain.
I love a good yarn it's really where I get inspiration for the projects I begin. I am fond of this wonderful woman's yarn at Springtree Road. The colors are beautiful and it just makes me think of rainbows. If you love color and hand spun yarn then she has the yarn for you.
My needle brand of choice are the rosewood Pony needles. I love them with all types of passion that I've built myself quite a collection and am always seeking more. By far my dpns have gotten the most use and I'd love to get another set or three.
Since knitting requires at some point and end to the project I like to have a small but sturdy set of scissors to cut and trim my yarn. I love folding scissors which are small and safe to tote around in my purse. Although sometimes they will get snagged at the airport. So while in flight I rely on my pendant yarn cutter to get by.
There are so many wonderful things I love and use that I could go on for pages. Instead I think I'll break this topic up and post as I use my little notions and such.
