Awesome is....

Finding the pink monster shaped stamper in the load of whites AFTER they've been through the dryer. It was a small pencil top stamp that was missed lurking in Olivia's pocket. I can't believe I missed that very important detail of thoroughly searching her pockets. Ack is all I can say. Spots of pink are on various bits of the load. There's a patch on one of Leah's socks, one on my maternity v-neck t-shirt, a few undies, more socks. Bummer. So the spot on my shirt is on the back. Not so terrible but still not good. I don't have much clothing to spare these days and a dumb mistake like that is a big deal to me. I'll wear it, with the spot, likely on a day I don't go out. Then I'll give it a decent twirl in bleach to get it back to normal. I'll toss in the other items too, after they've been worn, I mean what's the point of re-washing until I have enough whites to wash.

Other awesomeness going on these parts is the 15 pounds of zucchini laying around here. Looking for some place to go and it ain't gettin' far. I just made another batch of banana cupcakes so next week I'll make zucchini cupcakes. That won't use up too much I still have loads to cook up. If I can't get it all done up I'll have to shred it and freeze for later. Today I've been searching my recipe box and my computer files for some great ways to use zucchini. I think an orzo salad will be on my menu, some veggie soup, ratatouille, zucchini chocolate cake, more fritters and pastas. Eventually I'll be stuffing some of those zucchini into mailboxes so look out.
