Progress with the yellow cardi

I've been working very diligently to get this sunny yellow sweater complete by Leah's birthday. I have about a week remaining and that has put me on super knitty obsessed action. I took this picture a few weeks ago. I didn't want too much of its progress to be seen before the birthday girl gets to see it. I have been taking this with me all over the place squeezing in a row as often as possible. In this picture I was near completion with the body of the cardigan. I was so anxious to get to the end to move on to knitting that border. Sometimes those last few rows seem to last F o r e v e r. I am pressing on with new focus because I will finish this in time for Leah's birthday. It will come along with me every day for that slim chance I will have a teeny moment to sneak in a row or two. I have a little bit more to complete which has been making me very excited to see the cardigan complete.
