Lavender In Threes

 

A progress update on the second In Threes cardigan. Although I keep thinking that I'm not going to get done fast enough this sweater is coming along faster than I realize. I'm nearly to the point of just the stockinette knitting which always seems to take FOREVER in any project. I'm pressing on since I know that all I need is a few inches of that bothersome stockinette before I can just be finished already. I must say though this yarn is so nice. I bought it a long time ago thinking that when Olivia was a littler girl I'd knit her something this sweet and pretty. At the time I just could not find a pattern to match my skill set so the yarn just sat around waiting year after year. Alpaca with a Twist, Baby Twist is a soft yarn made from baby alpaca wool. Warm soft. Oh man it is soft. This is just the yarn for baby knits. I have made many hats with this variety. But the purple. The purple has been untouched until now. The perfect project emerged which makes me so happy to see this yarn being used for a beautiful sweater.
