Moms, get in the pictures

October is about the fall festivals. I love October. The first breath of fall is setting in surrounding us with want of closeness. The leaves are changing and those warm afternoons still linger with reminders of harvest yet to be done. We have been enjoying the loveliness of the season. Pumpkins, apples, farm visits, and hay rides. I have to thank the sweet teen gal who drove our tractor. She offered to take a picture of me with my littles. Being a mom I often find myself always taking pictures and am hardly being photographed. Seasons pass and I'm vacant from our pictures. Intent or not it happens. I have found too often that my focus on the children has been in neglect of me and the importance of my presence in their lives needs to be seen in pictures too. These candids are pieces of our story that will carry on for years. I want my girls to see our family story full of pictures with Mama, happy joyful pictures of us together.
