Knit Elephant

I finally finished this little toy. He is quite handsome this little chap. The sweater is a bit too big so I will work on making a different one. I think something more simple in design and with a smaller gauge yarn. I am very lacking in whites and other neutrals in my stash since those are the colors I tend to use the most for baby gifts.

The sweater pattern was absolutely darling. I have no idea where I found the vintage gold button but it was the perfect addition to the project. Which is another reason why I need a different option as this is intended for a little child and I am not quite confident that the button will remain sewn on in the hands of a child.
