Beloved Aran Hat

The Beloved Aran hat (pattern by Solenn Couix-Loarer) was sent off to a New England lady with a Northern California heart. It was knit using Imperial yarn Erin in natural. A great yarn for this pattern. I bought the skein based on its weight and color. It just felt like the right yarn. Properly sturdy squishy. The kind of yarn with which a well loved hat should be knit. The pattern required nearly an entire skein with enough remaining to make a yarn Pompon. I decided this hat need fluffy goodness and added one of my vegan poms to the top. It ties on which makes for easy removal in case you might want to enjoy the fluff on another garment. (I saved the yarn Pom for me. It will find a great purpose on another hat.)
