Kitchen Island Renovation Days 1-2

We began Friday night removing the old Corian counter top. There were plastic bits that needed to be removed from the island corners. We added a new outlet to the backside of the island. Keith made a frame extension to help support the new butcher block top. He also worked on making a bookcase at the end for my cookbooks. Drywall and paint finished up the work for Saturday.
