Feeding a baby

 

This guy. He is an eating machine. We are still working on him being strong enough to breastfeed. To say it has been a challenge is an understatement. So far I have nourished four babies with my body, nursing them 23 months each. He has been the only one not able to begin on the breast, we lost those precious days to his time in the NICU, which means he has to learn what to do. In the times of Covid abandoning breastfeeding is out of the question. Little by little we press on, us two, working our way through mealtimes. The bottle wins every day but I have hope that his days of using bottles are going to be far behind us.
