Slowing down

 

These days I find myself doing things much slower. As every parent does with a newborn one arm is always full. Filled with a soft little bundle warm in my arms I have to take a new approach to my days. While the gals are not slowing down any time soon I know I must resist the urge to keep pace. The delicate newborn days are not ones to take on at a rapid pace. Frequent reminders are given daily to anxious energetic girls with grand ideas for the day. These are the days we take slowly I say, we must be gentle in our approach, babies need warm snuggles and sweet songs. Much will pass us by during this newborn phase but we’re not going to miss one minute of holding a baby close to our heart.
