Birthday!

 

A Happy Birthday for our Lady J! Her birthday concludes the birthday shuffle for the year. She always remarks that she has to wait a very long time to celebrate her birthday. As we tell her, we just save the best for last! She enjoyed a day of simple surprises of costumes and pajamas. We tried our best to create the cake of her dreams: a layered Neapolitan. In the end those 3 layers of cakes were a rather large task to undertake for this weary Mama holding a newborn all day. Maybe next year! She was very surprised with our vanilla filled rainbow sprinkle topped cake with a singing light flashing candle. I do believe we will be finding rainbow sprinkles on the floor for the next week.
